The Golden Age of Silent Comedy
home
We have beautiful 35mm prints of
Harold Lloyd in "Never Weaken", The Little Rascals in "Saturday's
Lesson" which happens to be their last silent (1929) Buster Keaton
in "The Scarecrow", Laurel & Hardy in "Double Whoppee" and Chaplin's
first appearance as the tramp in "Kid Auto Races", and a Felix The
Cat cartoon. "The Golden Age Of Silent Comedy" incorporates a
vaudeville opening act followed by the comedy shorts with an
intermission in between. Dean Mora, who studied with the great
Gaylord Carter, will play the organ and piano. We also do prize
giveaways--kids and adults love this program. It truly is for
everyone to enjoy.
